Curriculum Vitae (CV) is a document used by job-seekers which provide important information about the skills, education, experiences and personal qualities which makes the case stronger in your favor.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CV AND RESUME:
Cvs differ a little from resumes as far as length, format, and use are considered. CVs are generally used in the US for academic purposes and to tell about a candidate ’s work, previous publications, and research projects. Other differences are:
CVs include personal information too like nationality, sex, date of birth and marital status.
It is also ok to include information about hobby etc in CV while on a resume it is not acceptable.
CVs are formatted to A4 paper whereas resumes are formatted to letter-size paper.
You can also include a personal photo in a CV while in a resume it is not included.continue reading
